Description
Flat gate valves have a simple structure, good sealing performance, low operating torque, and strong operability.
Flat gate valves are one of the most important types in the API 6A valve system. They directly undertake the core functions of high-pressure medium cutoff and conduction at the wellhead and manifold, serving as the "master switch" of the production process.
Flat gate valves are used in critical positions such as the main valve (controlling the total outflow from the wellbore), wing valve (connecting to the production pipeline), and casing valve (controlling the casing annulus pressure) at the wellhead, enabling long-term shut-off or continuous conduction of oil and gas wells, meeting bidirectional sealing and zero-leakage requirements.
Flat gate valves conform to API 6A pressure ratings (PSL 1~4) and performance ratings (PR1~PR2), are sulfur-resistant (NACE MR0175), wear-resistant, and suitable for harsh media containing sand, gas, and sulfur.
