LNG Cryogenic Industry
In the storage and transportation of cryogenic fluids such as LNG, liquid nitrogen, and liquid oxygen, plug valves, with their unique structural advantages and reliable performance, have become key control devices. Designed for ultra-low-temperature environments, they precisely meet the sealing and control requirements of cryogenic media. At the connection between LNG storage tanks and cryogenic pipelines, plug valves provide emergency shutoff and flow regulation functions, enabling rapid opening and closing (opening and closing time ≤ 3 seconds) at -162°C, preventing cryogenic media leaks from causing cold damage or safety hazards. Used at branching nodes in tank areas, they divert or switch media flow by rotating the plug. Suitable for low-pressure storage conditions of 0.1MPa to 1.6MPa, they ensure no media retention during switching. ZZJG plug valve has achieved API 6D cryogenic valve certification and has been operating stably in numerous LNG receiving terminals and cryogenic storage tank projects worldwide, achieving a mean time between failures of over 8,000 hours.
